Guest Policies

Guest Policy

All guests must be accompanied by a member and the member must personally register each guest at the front desk.  No person may be a guest at the IHC more than 5 times in any calendar month, regardless of how many members extend an invitation.  No guests are permitted on the Monday of Memorial Day weekend or July 4th.   Grandchildren of members are welcome at the IHC at any time of the day, at no charge, and are not subject to the number of visits limitation noted above.  The guest fee is $10 per person per day.  There is no charge for children under two years.

A member account can have up to 10 guests per day at a rate of $10/day/guest. A guest is any person that comes into the club, regardless of if they are actually swimming or not.

If you have more than 10 guests, that is considered a party with a different set of rules that must be planned in advance.  See Party Reservation Information.

Unaccompanied children under 13 may not bring guests.   Guests are not permitted to participate in junior tennis clinics and swim lessons.

Inter-Club Guests

A guest to an inter-club meet or match is an individual whose sole purpose in visiting the Club is to participate in or observe a swim team or diving team meet or a tennis match. This guest does not need to be sponsored by a member and will be admitted free. (An observer to an inter-club tournament will be charged an admission fee per League regulation.) Such a guest shall be expected to depart Club property immediately upon the conclusion of the meet or match.

House Guest Pass

A person residing with a member, but not otherwise eligible to use the facility under the Club’s rules, a “house guest” may visit the Club under the daily guest rate listed above. In the alternative, a member may purchase a Seasonal House Guest Pass for the house guest for $150 + tax. A House Guest Pass is exclusively for an individual who resides with the member and does not have another residence within 50 miles of the Club. The member is required to verify this information upon purchase.  The Seasonal House Guest Pass is good for the entire season and entitles the house guest access to the Club facilities with or without the member present on the facility, so long as the age requirements defined in the code of conduct are satisfied.   House guests are not permitted to bring guests.  After purchase, please allow at least 24 before the house guest visits the club, to allow time for the house guest to be added to your account.
