Director Of Tennis
Ryan Rasco is a USPTA certified pro and is joining Indian Hill Club after two seasons at Terrace Park Swim Club serving as the club’s Director of Tennis. Ryan is a full-time pro both at Camargo Racquet Club as well as a full-time assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s tennis teams at Xavier University. While at Xavier University, he is a member of the 2016 Big East coaching staff of the year as well as helped coach the 2016 Big East player of the year. Ryan was one of the top juniors in Texas growing up winning numerous high level tournaments as well as having helped coach many juniors of all levels to tournament wins and higher rankings. He comes to us with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science from St. Philip’s in 2008.
Assistant Tennis Pro
Alexa just completed a successful freshman year at Davidson College where she is a member of the Davidson Wildcats (Division 1) women’s tennis team. Alexa is double majoring in Economics and Political Science.
Prior to Davidson, she played No. 1 singles all four years for Sycamore High School. She qualified for the Ohio High School Division 1 State Tournament all four years finishing 2nd (singles – 2015), 3rd (singles – 2014) and 2nd (doubles – 2013). She was also a three-time All-State Division 1 First Team pick (2013-15) and team co-captain in 2015. She led the Sycamore team that finished runner-up at the 2015 Division 1 team state championships. She was named Sycamore’s Fall 2015 Female Scholar Athlete (one award per season), was an AP Scholar, graduated Summa Cum Laude and received Greater Miami Conference All Academic Honors (all four years). Alexa holds the all-time record for wins at Sycamore.
Alexa has played at the USTA National junior level for many years. She has been consistently ranked in the Top 20 in the Midwest and finished her junior career ranked 111 in Tennis Recruiting.
Assistant Tennis Pro
Meredith Breda is a 2016 graduate of Indian Hill High School. She has been playing tennis competitively and training at Queen City Racquet Club since the age of 10.
Meredith was consistently ranked in the top 100 players of the Midwest Section for every age group she participated in during her 8 years as a USTA junior competitor.
At Indian Hill High School, Meredith played #1 singles and doubles, was co-captain of the team, twice named Most Valuable Player as well as The Cincinnati Enquirer’s Division II Player of the Year in 2015 & 2016. She helped lead the team to three appearances in the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association (OTCA) team championships in 2012, 2013 and 2015. She was a three time Southwest Ohio District Champion in D-II Doubles with her partner Caroline Andersen and in 2015 the duo won the OHSAA State Championship in D-II Doubles.
In addition to tennis, Meredith has enjoyed performing on stage and was very involved in IHHS. She was a member of the Premieres show choir and was cast in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Pippin, Fiddler on The Roof, Once on This Island and Oklahoma. Meredith was an AP Scholar, Trained Student Leader and in National Honor Society, Indian Hill Television Network, Key Club and Co-President of French Club. Meredith signed to play tennis for DePauw University lady Tigers this fall and was also accepted into the school’s Media Fellows Honors Program.
